Creating a Cape Cod Look for Your Driveway

For over 50 years, R.J. Nardone Construction Inc. has been installing stone and seashell driveways. Locally sourced stone and seashell driveways provide a natural Cape Cod look to the entrance of your home.

Driveways are installed with a compacted sub-base material and topped with your choice of stone or seashells. These include:

• Native stone (neutral beige shades)
• Blue stone (shades of blue and gray)
• White Stone
• Seashells (upon availability)

The Appearance Stone

A stone-seal driveway is an enhanced installation method when compared to a basic stone driveway. This application looks similar to stone driveways but with the stability of an asphalt base.

The installation of a stone-seal driveway is made up of a sub-base and one course of hot mix asphalt. The asphalt is topped with a layer of hot oil emulsion and stone. The bottom layer of the stone clings to the hot oil emulsion but the top layer of stone stays loose to give the look of a natural stone driveway.
